Description
Additional information

There are several subfields of engineering that can be
traced back to mechanical engineering, which has been an
essential component of these areas ever since it was first
introduced decades ago. Consequently, this makes it possible
to analyses the history of machines from a variety of
perspectives, which in turn encompasses a significant portion
of the history of humanity. In this research, an attempt is
made to establish a connection between the development of
mechanical engineering and the formation of significant
civilizations over the course of human history. We begin this
book with the ancient, unnamed mechanical breakthroughs
that opened the way for the early civilizations, probably most
notably the Greco-Roman culture in Europe and the Chinese
culture in Asia. These innovations were crucial in the
development of the world’s first civilizations.
The Islamic world, as a consequence of their
influence, was instrumental in establishing the framework for
the Renaissance that came after it. During the Middle Ages,
they fostered the creation of inventive mechanical equipment.
Their “Treatises on Machines,” which briefly mirrored the
ascent of the Iberian Empire and the invention of technology
for the New World, were a significant factor in the
development of imaginative and creative thinking in Italy,
France, and Germany during this time period. The Industrial
Revolution was the pinnacle of all the accomplishments that
came before it.
